2015 saw new recordings by David Sanborn (produced by and featuring Marcus Miller), Norwegian singer Silje Nergaard, Sachal Vasandani,as well as Polish piano trio RGG and the soundtrack Playing Lecuona, featuring Michel Camilo, Chucho Valdes, Gonzalo Rubalcaba and others. Further new releases included the collaboration of Dee Dee Bridgewater with Irivn Mayfield and the New Orleans Jazz Orchestra and a new James Brandon Lewis release. OKeh France released new albums by Hugh Coltman and Stacey Kent. In 2016 the following releases came out: Bill Frisell, Sonny Rollins, Theo Croker, the Branford Marsalis Quartet featuring special guest Kurt Elling, Dhafer Youssef, Nils Petter Molvaer, The Bad Plus, the first Till Bronner album for OKeh as well as new Masterworks signing trumpet player and singer Bria Skonberg and French pianist Baptiste Trotignon, plus a beautiful Christmas album by Kurt Elling. 2017 saw the release of the second album by singer Somi, as well new albums by Dee Dee Bridgewater and Regina Carter, plus Baptiste Trotignon, Markus Stockhausen, Lyambiko,  Bria Skonberg, triosence,  Silje Nergaard and Avishai Cohen and Stacey Kent.

2018 sees a very strong release schedule, starting with a trumpet / bass duo by Till Bronner and Dieter Ilg. This release entitled ‘Nightfall’ is followed by the album ‘Pas de Geant’ by outstanding singer Camille Bertault. Bill Frisell released a rare solo recording in March - ‘Music IS’, which became his first # 1 on the overall Billboard Jazz charts and singer Kurt Elling released in the same month his Branford Marsalis co-produced new album ‘The Questions’, a vocal masterwork in its own right, staying at # 1 of the US jazz radio charts for 5 consecutive weeks. Power rhythm duo Sly & Robbie + Nils Petter Molvaer released ‘NORDUB’ in early April: a groovy album produced by Jan Bang and featuring as well guitarist Eivind Aarset and Vladislav Delay on electronics. Thomas Quasthoff released ‘NICE ‘N’ EASY’ in mid-May – a wonderful standards recording with the NDR Big Band and arrangements by Joerg Keller.

Further releases in 2018 are planned by young trumpet star Theo Croker, new signing, be-bop influenced guitar player, Pasquale Grasso and possibly David Sanborn. The Branford Marsalis Quartet is recording and preparing  a new album for early 2019.

We were as well co-ordinating the European jazz concert dates for  Branford Marsalis as a solo artist or with his quartet as well as his duo with Joey Calderazzo from 2012 to 2016.

Unfortunately the increased work for the artists and releases on OKeh Records made it impossible for us to remain as the European jazz agent for this exceptional artist.

We wish Branford all the best and are happy to work with him on his current and future albums - and if you are interested in booking him or one of his projects, please get in touch with  Katherine McVicker
